JOSEPH J. HLINAK (d. 1956)

Joseph Hlinak of Rt. 1, Two Rivers, died at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital early Monday morning where he had been a patient (unreadable), making his home with a daughter, Mrs. Clarence Lehrmann, at Two Creeks for the past six years and had been ill several weeks.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Klein & Stangel, Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tisch Mills, the Rev. Joseph Kalisek officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Hlinak was born at West Kewaunee Sept. 7, 1882, the son of the late John and Anna Novak Hlinak. At Pilsen in 1912, he married the former Mary Vohen. She preceded him in death 21 years ago. Until six years ago when he retired, he operated a farm in the Town of Carlton, Kewaunee County.
For many years, he was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Mary Church, Tisch Mills.
Surviving Mr. Hlinak are two other daughters, Mrs. Alvin Kopetsky of Two Rivers and Mrs. Harold Sprang of Rt. 1, Two Rivers; two sons, Anton and Joseph Hlinak of Sheboygan; two sisters, Mrs. John De Both and Mrs. Mary
Kulhanek of Green Bay; two brothers, Charles Hlinak of Norman and Edward Hlinak of St. Louis, Mo.; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
