MARY BLAHA (d. 1969)

Mrs. Mary Blaha, 90, of 1809 Adams St., Two Rivers, died Sunday morning at Two
Rivers Municipal Hospital where she had been a patient for five weeks.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Deja and Martin Funeral Chapels,
Two Rivers, and at 10 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, the Rev. Earl Brouchoud
officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Tisch Mills.
Mrs. Blaha, nee Mary Rezach, was born Dec. 2, 1878, in the Town of Mishicot, a
daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Hallada Rezach. She was married Feb. 25,
1897, at St. Mary church, Tisch Mills, to Frank Blaha, after which the couple
took up residence at Two Creeks where her husband was engaged as a blacksmith
for 22 years. The family moved to Two Rivers in 1919. Her husband died in 1927.
She was a member of St. Luke Altar Society, the Knights of Columbus Home Auxiliary,
the Third Order of St. Francis, the Propagation of Faith and the Legion of Mary.
She also was treasurer of the Altar Society for a number of years. Among her
numerous diversions was sewing for the Red Cross during World War II.
She leaves a son, Joseph, with whom she had resided; six grandchildren and 10
great grandchildren. Two daughters, three sisters and three brothers preceded
her in death.
Friends may call at the funeral chapels where memorial services will be at 7:30
o’clock this Monday evening.
