Crystal Lynn Skaggs Scaff, age 35, of South Shore, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday morning, July 11,2012, at her residence.
She was born February 1, 1977, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a daughter of Donald Ora and Linda Madden Skaggs of South Shore, Kentucky.
Crystal was of the Baptist faith and was employed by the Greenup County Board of Education and worked at Wurtland Middle School. She enjoyed fishing, horseback riding, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Crystal is survived by her husband of 12 years, Scott Scaff, one brother, Matthew Skaggs of South Shore, Kentucky, one sister, April Skaggs of Garrison, Kentucky, and her maternal grandmother, Ruth Ritchie Madden of Garrison, Kentucky. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2012, at Globe Family Funeral Chapel in Garrison, Kentucky, with Brother Dennis Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Skaggs and Scaff Cemetery in South Shore, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 12, 2012, and until the service hour at 11 a.m. on Friday at Globe Family Funeral Chapel, 103 Dudley Avenue, Garrison, Kentucky 41141.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
