Randall A. Durham, 55, of Papillion, Nebraska (formerly of Lufkin) was born October 6, 1956. He passed away Friday, July 6, 2012 in Omaha, Nebraska following a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.

Randall was employed with Union Pacific Railroad (formerly Southern Pacific Railroad) for 34 years. He was a Deacon at Spirit Life Assemblies of God Church.

Randall loved life and loved his family. He enjoyed music, camping, fishing, computers, grilling (he was a master griller), and traveling in the Black Hills of South Dakota. He also enjoyed traveling and shopping in antique malls with Sheila. He loved anything to do with trains and collected models of Lionel trains.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila (Featherston)Durham of Papillion; son, Michael Durham of Papillion; mother, Lillian Durham of Omaha; sisters-in-law, Rhonda and Jon Poepke of Coon Rapids, Minnesota and Peggy and Anthony Wells of Lufkin; mother-in-law, Hazel Featherston of Lufkin; nieces and nephews, Seth and Cole Poepke, Peyton and Ashlyn Wells, Mikka Harris and Franchesca Ramirez; aunt, LaVerne Childress; and a number of cousins and extended family members.

Randall was preceded in death by his father, Arch Campbell Durham; father-in-law, Jack Featherston; and greandparents, Louis and Alice Pelkey.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Wells, Pat Featherston, Brian Helmer, Brian Morris, Jim Squyres, Justin Thiel, Joe Thiel, and Charles Featherston.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Randall's memory may be made to the Convoy of Hope with any Assembly of God Church.

Services for Randall will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Glad Tidings Assembly of God with Reverend Brad Helmer and Reverend Murrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Glad Tidings Assembly of God. Following the service for Randall, friends and family members are invited to a luncheon at the church.
