MILES CITY, MT. ---- Funeral services for Harold I. Matthews, 64, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Miles City.
Pastor Marvin Brown of the Baptist Tabernacle Church will officiate.

Burial will be in the family lot in Custer County Cemetery, Miles City, MT.

Mr. Matthews died Monday morning at Holy rosary Hospital after an extended illness.

He was born Sept. 19, 1909, in Duluth, MN., where he attended school.

On Dec. 18, 1948, he married Ruth Lee in St. Paul, MN.
The same year the couple moved to Miles City where Mr. Matthews worked for Nance Motors.

A few years later, he established Harold's Alignment Shop.

In 1966, he operated a Chevron gas station as well as his own alignment business.'

He retired in 1971.

Mr. Matthews was a member of the Eagles Lodge.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Gary and Ray, both of Miles City; A daughter, Kristine Matthews of Rosemount, MN.; a brother, Everrett and two sisters, Mary Bergstrom of Santa Rosa, CA., and Mrs. Scott Ellis of Dallas center, IA.
