Sister Bertille, Former Local Resident, Dead
Word has been received here of the death of a former Madison resident, Sister Mary Bertille of the Dominican order who died Friday in Sinsinawa Mounds, Wisc. in Grant County.
Sister Bertille was the former Alice Lalor, daughter of the late William and Amelia Lalor of the town of Dunn. She taught school for 56 years. Funeral services were held Friday at Sinsinawa Mounds.
Surviving are five nephews, William and Herbert Lalor, town of Dunn; Dr. J. C. Lalor, Oregon; Philip Lalor, town of Dunn; and George Lalor, Madison, and five nieces, Mrs. Frank Curran, Mauston; Margaret Lalor, town of Dunn; Mrs. George Oakel and Mrs. Sam Barry, Madison; and Mrs. Paul Fink, Oshkosh.
