Andrus, Claire Kenyon (namesake for Bolivar American Legion Post 772). Kenyon Andrus was the only Bolivar boy to die in the service in Europe during World War I. He was a victim of the great 1918 influenza pandemic, not German bullets. Part of his regiment, the 308th Infantry, became the "Lost Batalion."
