Funeral services for Malcolm James Aymond, Sr. will be held at 1 pm, Thursday, July 12, 2012, in the White Oaks Chapel of Alexandria with the Reverend Chris Morris officiating. Committal services will follow in the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church Cemetery of Marksville, under the guidance of White Oaks Funeral Home, Alexandria.

Malcolm, 62, of Alexandria, entered eternal rest on Monday, July 9, 2012 in Alexandria. He was born on August 23, 1949 in Bunkie, to the union of Elster and Lucille Goodeau Aymond. Malcolm was a Catholic by faith. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Elster and Lucille Aymond; one brother, Ronnie Aymond and one sister, Jane Baroni.

He leaves behind his loving family to cherish his memory, his wife, Betty Ann Basco Aymond of Cotile; two sons, Malcolm "Mack" James Aymond, Jr. (wife) Lisa of Woodworth and Tony Aymond (wife) Jennifer of Cotile; one daughter, Becky Lynn Rachal (husband) Brian of Boyce; one brother, Peter Aymond of Marksville; one sister, Elsie Brown of Natchitches; eight grandchildren; one great grandson; friend, Larry Cancienne; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
