HARDIN - Jerry Dee Boggess, 50, of Hardin died Friday, Oct. 30, 1998, in Billings.
He was born Nov. 13, 1947, in Hardin a son of Martha Fowler and the late Ernest Boggess. He attended grade school and through his Junior year in Hardin and graduated from high school in Olympia, Wash.
Jerry ran a very successful auto repair shop for many years on 1st Ave. North in Billings (Jerry's Auto), until a tragic illness forced him into retirement. He will always be remembered for his energy and good Samaritan attitude with all his auto customers. Day or night, rain or shine, Jerry was always there with a smile, to lend a hand.
He married Ann Bell in Washington and was later divorced.
Jerry is survived by two sons, Jack Boggess of Butler, N.J. and David and his wife, Cherie Boggess of Billings; one daughter, Lori Singh of Santa Rosa, Calif.; his devoted mother, Martha Boggess, of Hardin, who cared for him for many years. (Billings Gazette, Billings, MT)
