Actor. He is recognized as an American child actor. Older brother of actor Carl Switzer, he appeared in at least 30 of the "Our Gang" movies in his short career. He was nicknamed "Slim." The brothers started appearing in "Our Gang" in 1935 and his last appearance was in 1940 in "The New Pupil." His final film was "You're The Top" (1967). As an adult, he sold washers and dryers. In an altercation with a customer, he killed the customer in a rage and later that day committed suicide. He was married with children.
