Glen Baker, 89, Webster City, died Sunday, Oct 13, 2002 at Crestview Manor. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster Funeral Home with Rev. John Grebner officiating. Burial will be one hour before the services.

Glen Franklin Baker, son of James and Rachel Hines Baker, was born January 18 1913 at Kamrar. He received his education in rural schools in that area. On Sept. 19, 1933, he married Leona Ruth Fulk at Jewell. The resided at Jewell and for a short time at Kamrar before moving to Webster City in 1938. He had been employed at Beam Manufacturing, was an auto salesman and mechanic. He retired in 1960. Mrs. Baker died Oct. 12, 1992.

Mr. Baker is survived by daughter and sons-in-law, Virginia & Bill Fastenow of Creston, Bonnie & Larry Brownfield of Ankeny; grandchildren, Bredna Dentlinger, Diane Palmer, Tom Fastenow and Mark Brownfield; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clay, John Raymond and Jimmy Baker; sisters, Grace Arnold and Hazel Bealmear.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
