EDENTON, N.C. - Agnes D. Chappell, 85, a retired bookkeeper, died Dec. 22, 1991, in a hospital.
Miss Chappell was born in Chowan County. She had retired from the Albemarle Motor Co. She was a member of Edenton Baptist Church and was also the church's organist for 40 years.
Survivors include two sisters, Jacqueline Potter and Anne Edmundson, both of Edenton.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Beaver Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Kenneth Word. Friends may join the family at the home of Anne Edmundson, Route 4. Williford-Barham Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the church's music department.
