Frank was a Minneapolis police officer until he retired in 1928. By that time, the family had moved onto Ulysses St. NE., and Frank had put on 20 years with the department. After he retired, Frank was hired by one of the railroads that ran through Minneapolis, as railroad security. He stayed with that job until 1937, when he retired for good.
Frank and Anna lived at 2806 Ulysses until Frank died on January 2, 1948, in Minneapolis. Anna lived until December 1, 1966. They are both buried at Saint Anthony Cemetery in Northeast Minneapolis.
