Patricia A. (Stanek) Shade
"Loving Wife, Mother and Nana" Patricia A. (Stanek) Shade, age 68, of Erie, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at UPMC Hamot.
She was born in Erie on February 12, 1944, a daughter of the late John and Emily (Pol) Stanek.
She worked in the personnel department at GECAC for over 35 years.
Pat was a member of St. Luke Church.
She enjoyed collecting Department 56 Snow Village and loved going to Presque Isle Downs & Casino.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Rebecca A. Bolmanski in 2009.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Thomas E. Shade; a son, Thomas J. Shade, wife, Lisa of Erie; a son-in-law, Robert D. Bolmanski; three grandchildren, Ellen and Emma Shade and Michael R. Bolmanski; a brother, John A. Stanek, wife, Judy of Erie; a dear aunt, Theresa Fracowiak of Erie; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call on Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brugger Funeral Home. Services will be held there on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Luke Church.
Burial will follow in Mary Queen of Peace Cemetery.
