Sadly, on May 31, 2012 Arnold Raymond Napoleon of Fort Collins passed away. To everyone who knew and loved him, he was simply "Nap." He suffered a cardiac arrest at home on Memorial Day and never regained consciousness. At the time of his passing he was surrounded by family with his favorite bluegrass music playing. He was 69.

Nap was born March 23, 1943 in Martinsville, N.J. His love of life included a wide range of interests from mechanics, excavating, potato farming, playing banjo and solving Jumble puzzles to owning and managing multiple properties around Ft. Collins. His latest passion was model railroads, and his expansive two-story layout is considered one of the most impressive in Northern Colorado. He loved hosting friends to operate the trains.

Nap will be missed by his wife Hetty; daughter Lisa and son-in-law Lionel; son Landon and daughter-in-law Amy and granddaughters Avery and Riley.

In lieu of flowers, you're invited to make a donation to a charity of your choosing, or to one of Nap's favorite organizations: Colorado State University and the Nature Conservancy. The memorial service is open to the public on Sunday, June 3, at 11 a.m. at the Drake Centre. A reception follows. Please go to their online community at https://www.lotsahelpinghands.com/c/658376/
