Mrs. Effie Elizabeth Black, 72, of 324 SW 28, died Monday morning in Mercy hospital after an illness of two weeks.
Born in Grenola, Kan., she moved to Oklahoma City two years ago from Stroud. She attended the Christain church.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Capitol Hill funeral church. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial gardens.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. John R. Willard, 750 SW 51, and Mrs. Dan Walsh, Nicoma Park, a son, Erwin Lockwood, 529 SW 26; 17 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
