Had 7 children (6 living in 1880): Robert W., Charles D., John W., Jesse C., Jennie E., Maggie M. Owned 410 acres. Was killed Nov. 18, 1879 at Keokuk, Ia. by a switch engine, while crossing the R.R. tracks
