CLAUDE W. BLONDIN, SR., 90, residing in the Ohio Veterans Home, passed away on July 5, 2012. He was a World War II Navy Veteran, Pearl Harbor survivor and Peace Officer, retired from the Cleveland Police Dept. Husband to the late Anne Witkus; father of Claude Jr. of Sonoma, CA., James of North Royalton, OH., and Edward of Brook Park, OH.; grandfather of 11; and great-grandfather of 15. A memorial service will be held at the Ohio Veterans Home Giffin Chapel on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 1 p.m. Interment will be in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ohio Veterans Home, 3416 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, OH 44870.
