Old Settlers' Cemetery, Walworth County, Wisconsin
Old Settlers', is one of the oldest burial grounds in Wisconsin. With approximately
117 citzens who died in the Delavan, Wisconsin area between 1837 -1869. Old Settlers' is
located in Delavan, Wisconsin on the north side of McDowell St. between Third Street and
Fourth Street. Periodic vandalism has plagued the cemetery since the Civil War. Many
headstones have been knocked down and even destroyed. All records were destroyed in an
1893 fire.
