He was born August 10, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Herbert and Ethel Kilburn.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Barling and sang in the choir. He enjoyed talking about his years as a Boy Scout, his military service in the Army and the Postal Service.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Carol and his sister Dorothy Fisher.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 10th at the Fort Smith National Cemetery Pavilion. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary of Fort Smith.
He is survived by three nieces: Debra Maxwell and her husband John of Fort Smith, Jenny Lowrey of Philadelphia, PA and Charlotte Marlow of California; a great niece Mary Fox and her husband James of Springdale and great nephew Peter Maxwell of Charlotte, NC.
