Mrs. Wetherbee was the daughter of Mary and Robert Stanley. Born on Dec. 9th, 1868, at Erie, PA., and came with her parents to Battle Lake, MN., where she attended school. She taught school in the Fairmount area for a time and was married Sept. 18th, 1889 to Homer F. Wetherbee. They made their home south of Fairmount until Mr. Wetherbee's death
in 1918. She moved into Fairmount where she resided until her death. She was a member of the Methodist Church, Women's Society of Christian Service, Order of the Eastern Star, and for many years a member of the Rebekah Lodge.
She is survived by five sons, Donald and Lester of Fairmount, Stanley of Waupaca, WI.Max of Antioch, IL., and Clarence of Rosholt, SD., a sister, Mrs. Emma L. Crooks of Modesto CA., 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Burial was at the Fairmount Cemetery
