Obituary for Patricia Heaton
Patricia Jo ‘Patty’ Heaton, 51, a resident of Port Orchard, died in a tragic automobile accident on August 22, 2009. She was born in Portland, Oregon on August 31, 1957 and the family later relocated to Kitsap County where she graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1975. She was accepted into the Ship-fitter Apprentice Program at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in 1977 and was currently working as an Assistant Structural Engineer for C/250 Planning and Estimating at the Naval Shipyard. Patty enjoyed bowling occasionally, gardening, the outdoors, traveling and was addicted to video games. She was a very friendly person who had a great and ready smile. She was preceded in death by her brother Bill Mead and is survived by her mother, Harryette Caskey; husband of over six years, Michael Heaton; daughters Stephanie and Rachel Walker and brother Jack Feigion (Sue) of Vancouver, Washington. Celebration of Life will be Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 11:30 in Port Orchard at Rill’s Life Tribute Center.
