Services for Betty Sue Janvier, 75, of Mineola, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2012, in the Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home chapel in Lindale with Bro. Byron Howard officiating. Internment will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the Evergreen Cemetery in Paris. Services are under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Directors in Lindale.

Mrs. Janvier died Friday, July 6, 2012, in a Tyler hospice center. She was born in Taylortown on Aug. 8, 1936, to the late James Arnold and Exie Idell (Cochran) Abbott. Mrs. Janvier was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Lindale and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, J.C. Abbott, James Abbott and Gary Abbott; sister, Syble Puffer; son, Michael Dickenson; and grandson, Jeremy Clay.

Mrs. Janvier is survived by her husband, Noel Janvier, of Mineola; daughter, Karen Long, of Cooper; two sons, Randy Clay, of Arlington and Wesley Clay, of Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers, Billy Abbott, of Lindale and Donald Abbott, of Tyler; two sisters, Ann Brazeal, of Allen and Mary Ausmus, of Paris; four grandchildren, Joseph Clay, Meagan Clay, Jacob Clay and Abbey Clay; and by three great-grandchildren. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be nephews. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2012, at the Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home.
