PIONEER MASSENA SETTLER SUCCUMBS
Massena, Ia., March 16 .— (Special)— Funeral services are expected to be held Saturday at Victoria Methodist church north of here for James Angus, 80, pioneer settler for this section, who died this week at Cranbrook, British Columbia, where he had made his home for the last thirty five years.
The body will arrive in Corning tomorrow, according to word deceived here. Mr. Angus was a brother of Robert, Violet, and Thomas Angus and Mrs. W. D. Bell of Massena and John Angus of Corning.

John Angus, Adams County Sheriff, left Wednesday morning of last week for British Columbia, where he will spend a couple of weeks looking after business matters. Mr. Angus' brother, James Angus, who resided there, died a few weeks ago and matters relative to settling of the estate have called Mr. Angus to British Columbia.
