Ruth O. Briggs of Oceanside, a native of Baraboo, Wisconsin, lived in San Bernardino for 50 years, died Tuesday of respiratory arrest at home at the age of 90. She worked as a nurse at San Bernardino County Hospital for 50 years and was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was survived by her daughter, Beverly Smart of Rancho Mirage, a son, Joseph Millard of Rainbow, two sisters, Pauline Hein of Baraboo, Wisconsin and Elizabeth Turner of San Bernardino, four brothers, Bruce Warn of San Bernardino, Edward Warn and Elisha Warn, both of Baraboo, Wisconsin and Bernardino Warn of Highland Park, Illinois, nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Bobbitt Memorial Park with interment to follow at Montecito Memorial Park.
