Elwood R. Beebe Elwood R. Beebe, 70, of West Sayville, died on May 20. Born in West Sayville, Mr. Beebe was a lifelong resident. He was a retired carpenter from Local #1222. Mr. Beebe was a 55-year member of the West Sayville Fire Department and was a former treasurer. He was a member of the West Sayville Christian Reformed Church.
Mr. Beebe is survived by his wife, Elaine; daughter, Cynthia Holden of Sayville; son, Ronald J. Beebe of Columbus, South Carolina; sister, Joan Raynor of Islip; and grandchildren, Caroline and Alicia.
Friends and relatives visited at the Raynor & D'Andrea Funeral Home, West Sayville. Firematic services were held. A religious service was held the following day at the funeral home with the Reverend James Stastny, Pastor of the West Sayville Christian Reformed Church, officiating. Interment followed in the Sayville Union Cemetery.
