He was born August 6, 1921, in Chippewa Falls, the son of Albert and Mathilda (Annen) Dressel.
Warren was a sergeant in the U.S. Army.
In 1944, he married Lorraine Christenson. He was a car salesman for 38 years with Weigand Sales Co. Inc. in Chippewa Falls and was a member of Ford's 500 Club, American Legion Post 77, Old Goats Club and Christ Episcopal Church.
Warren is survived by two sons, Rodney (Edith) Dressel of Middleburg, Fla., and Gordon (Belinda) Dressel of Eau Claire, Wis.; one daughter, Janet (David) Hodowanic of Magnolia, Texas; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine, on November 23, 2009; one daughter, Judy Denninger, on February 14, 2012, and her husband, David; and his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Christ Episcopal Church in Chippewa Falls. The Rev. Eleanor Michaud will be officiating. Interment will be in Hope Cemetery in Chippewa Falls. Military rites will be conducted by the Chippewa Falls Patriotic Council.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of services Saturday, June 30, at Christ Episcopal Church in Chippewa Falls.
