CHARLES SCHROEN, CHATSWORTH, DIES; FUNERAL FRIDAY
CHATSWORTH, ILL -- Charles H. Schroen, 81 died at Fairbury hospital at 9:10 p.m. Tuesday after a lengthy illness.
His funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Hanson funeral home and at 2 p.m. at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran church with the Rev. Elmer F. Klingensmith officating. Burial will be in Chatsworth cemetery.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
He was born in Chatsworth township July 20, 1880, a son of Peter and Elizabeth (Schafer) Schroen. He lived the past four years at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Haberkorn, Chatsworth. Mr. Schroen was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran chruch.
There are no survivors.
