Jenevieve Christensen Rites Set
Funeral sever ices for Mrs. Jenevieve Christensen will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 P. M. at the Anita Church of Christ. Interment will be in Anita Evergreen Cemetery.

Jenevieve Christensen, the daughter of Mrs. Rhea Clark Masching and the late Frank Masching, was born Dec. 27, 1913, in Adair County and passed away Wednesday morning, Jan. 8, at 6:20 A.M. at Atlantic Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient since Friday evening, Dec. 27.

Mrs. Christensen had been in ill health for several months and bedfast since October.
She grew in young womanhood on a farm 5 miles northwest of Anita. She attended the rural schools
and graduated from Anita High School with the class of 1932. On Feb 14, 1940 she was married to Elton Christensen. They farmed for several years north of Anita and later moved to town.
She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Twila Jensen of Anita; a granddaughter, Valerie Jensen; her mother; three sisters, Mrs Henry (Pauline) Christensen, Mrs. LeRoy (Betty) Kinzie and Mrs. Bill (Lena Mae) Metheny, all of Anita; also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father in 1961

Services Held For Mrs. Christensen Saturday

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, Jan 11 at 2 P.M., for Mrs Jenevieve Christensen, 50, at Anita Church of Christ, Brother Charles Presley officiated.

Mrs. Phil McCosh accompanied Mrs. Claus Wilson as she sang "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "Beyond the Sunset". Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Keasey and Mrs. Margaret Heck were in charge of the flowers.

Casketbears were Eric Osen, Andy Jessen, Arthur Duff, Leland Morgan, Phil Lees and Ted Cooley. Burial was in the Anita Evergreen Cemetery.
