Carl W. Ford Sr., 77, died Sunday, June 14, at a local hospital.
He was a native of Garland County, a retired grocery, and a member of Park Place Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Carl W. Ford Jr. of Germantown, Maryland; a daughter, Carol Sue Thompson of Hot Springs; one sister, Lilly Dwinell of Louisville, Kentucky; and two grandsons; and two granddaughters.

Services for Carl W. Ford, 77, who died Sunday, June 14, will be held at 10 a.m. today at the Caruth Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tom Harris officiating.
Pallbearers will be Louis Scrivner, Robert Banfield, Stanley Dodd, Harold Humphrey, Virgil Murray, and Dick Stubblefield.
Honorary pallbearers are Jack Sheffield, Ralph Holcomb, Dr. N. Jayasundera, and Clarence Newsom.
Burial will be at Center Hill Cemetery under the direction of Caruth Funeral Home.
