Services for Minnie May Bishop Hancock, 98, of Friendswood, Texas, are set for 11 a.m. Friday at the McCauley Funeral Home Chapel in Franklin. Burial will be in the Elliott Cemetery in the Elliott community in Robertson County.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hancock died Tuesday in Friendswood.

She was born in the community of Bishopville in Robertson County and lived in Franklin before moving to Friendswood a year and a half ago.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Monroe Hancock.

Survivors include three daughters, Opal Green and Eddie Ruth Barnett of Franklin and Annette Nichols of Friendswood; three sons, James Hancock of Carrollton, Texas and Leslie Hancock and Wayne Hancock, both of the Elliott community; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
