Funeral for Effie Elizabeth Kellogg, a Clackamas centenarian who died Sunday at a Gladstone convalescent home, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Peake Memorial Funeral Home in Milwaukie.

Vault entombment will be in a private ceremony at Mt. View Cemetery, Oregon City.

Mrs. Kellogg, who for years lived at 10701 SE Highway 212, Clackamas, was born at Licking, Mo., March 15, 1876. She would have been 101 next Tuesday.

She and her husband homesteaded in Montana before coming to Oregon. Her husband, Roy, died in 1924.

Mrs. Kellogg was a 50-year member of the Riverside Chapter No. 84 of the Order of Eastern Star, Wolf Point, Mont.

She is survived by daughters Mrs. Maebelle Schwab, Clackamas; Mrs. Lora Worthington, Oregon City; Mrs. Juanita Hansen, Sun City, Ariz., and Mrs. Lillian Compton, Coulee Dam, Wash; 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Effie was first married to John Harmon on 4/4/1897. John died 7/10/1899. Effie then married Roy Kellogg on 10/12/1904.
