David Henderson

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at Gladstone First Baptist Church in Gladstone for David Herschel Henderson of Corvallis, formerly of Drain, who died Dec. 9 of gastroesophageal cancer. He was 59.

He was born June 20, 1950, in Drain. He married Sherie Henderson April 20, 1974, in Portland.

He served as a missionary in Russia and Indonesia, and was regional director for WorldVenture in Russia.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Anna Taylor of Tulsa, Okla.; three sons, Adriel of Keizer, Paul of Monroe, Wash., and Sean of Flowery Branch, Ga.; a sister, Francis Cowan of Yoncalla; four brothers, Edward of Billings, Mont., Gil of Tualatin, Nolan of Agua Dulce, Calif., and Nealan Henderson of Grants Pass; and six grandchildren. A son, Joel Henderson, died previously.

Arrangements by Crown Memorial Center in Milwaukie. Remembrances to the Dave Henderson Memorial Fund at WorldVenture in Littleton, Colo.
