Roy P. Blake, 78, of Olla, died at 9:00 Sunday, September 9, 1990 at the Rapides General hospital in Alexandria.
He was a retired oilfield worker and member of the Pine Hill Baptist Church of Urania.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Pine Hill Baptist Church of Urania with the Revs. Ed Smith and Thomas Windsor, officiating.
Burial will follow in Beech Creek Cemetery of Olla under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Aro Holmes Blake of Olla; two daughters, Frances Spence of Moreno, California and Sallie Wells of Olla; two sons, R.D. Blake of West Monroe and Donald Blake of Monroe; a sister, Olive Braddock of Olla; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jack Womack, Leon Etheridge Jr., Keith Ruddell, C.H. Boyd and Steven Smith.
