The lady had been ailing for a number of years, but was moving about during the day. The family retired about eight o'clock, and at 8:30 she became ill, expiring 45 minutes later. She was about 45 yrs. of age. Two children and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Shaffer preceded her to the grave.
Besides her husband she leaves five daughters and two sons, the oldest nineteen and the youngest 10; also one sister Mrs. Fred Buffington of near Killinger and one brother, Leander, of Millersburg.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 Saturday morning from her late home, Rev. Becker officiating. Burial in the Lutheran Cemetery at Killinger.
