Mr. J. M. Board Jr. received the sad intelligence last Friday that his mother, Mrs. Martha J. Board, had died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lee Warner in Shelbyville, IL where she had been making her home for the past 2 years. She was 75 years old and a most devout Christian woman. Her remains were brought here and funeral services were held at Bethel Church Sunday morning by Rev. J. C. Gilliam.
