Marion E. Beattie, 81, Traverse City, formerly of Howell, died December 29 in Birchwood Center, Traverse City.
Born July 28, 1901, in Howell, she was the daughter of Robert A. and Emma Jane (Sopp) Beattie.
Miss Beattie grew up in Howell and moved to Traverse City 50 years ago.
Survivors include a sister, Viola Darroch of Mt. Pleasant; and a niece and a nephew.
Funeral services were December 31 at the Lamb Funeral Home.
Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery with the Reverend Lewis Sutton of the First United Methodist Church of Howell officiating.
