Norma Jean Fetter Williams, 65, of Illiopolis, formerly of Palmyra, died Friday, Jan. 8, 1999, at St. John's Hospital.
She was born Aug. 21, 1933, in Palmyra, the daughter of Adam and Victoria Thompson Fetter. She married Robert "Strawberry" Williams in 1959 in Christian County; he died in 1989. Mrs. Williams retired from Franklin Life Insurance Company, where she was employed as a secretary. She was also a member of Palmyra Christian Church.
Survivors: two sons, Robert and James Williams, both of Illiopolis; two grandchildren; and a sister, Wanda Dean Stouffe of Corsicana, Texas.
Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday, Stults-Neece Funeral Home, Palmyra. Burial: Oak Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
