Ronald J. "Frenchie" Arpin
BELLEVILLE — Ronald J. "Frenchie" Arpin, 87, Belleville, died Monday, Aug. 11, 1997, at Cloud County Health Center, Concordia. Mr. Arpin was born Dec. 23, 1909, at St. Joseph. He worked for Boeing Aircraft, was a member of the American Legion and Moose Lodge, both of Concordia, and St. Edward's Catholic Church, Belleville.
Survivors include four sons, Ronald L. of Belleville, Ill., Jerry and Robert, both of Hutchinson, and Gene of Clay Center; six daughters, Rita Rippee and Rhonda Adkins, both of Wichita, Vera Daniels of Middleburg, Fla., Roxanna Swatek of Virginia, Minn., Marie Marcotte of Hutchinson and Joann Simpson of Smith Center; a brother, Ben of Wichita; a sister, Helen Scritchfield of Clyde; 30 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Edward's Catholic Church, Belleville, the Revs. John Moeder and LeRoy Metro officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Clyde. A vigil will be at 8 p.m. Thursday at Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. today and Thursday at the funeral home, 1329 19th, Belleville 66935.
