Ada was born on January 14, 1880, to William Anthony "Will" Lincoln (1850 - 1923) and Martha Elizabeth "Lizzie" Goodman (1849 - 1896) in Williamson County, Tennessee.
Ada married James Smith Stinson (1875 - 1917) on July 9, 1897, in Williamson County. They made their home in the Fairview, Tennessee. Smith and Ada had four children, Andrew, Josie, Ludie, and Howard. After 19 years of marriage on January 29, 1917, Smith was killed in an accident, when a limb fell out of a tree and struck him on his head. He died suddenly. About 3 months later, her 14 year old daughter, Josie Agnes Stinson ((1903 - 1917), died from typhoid fever.
Ada's 2nd marriage was to Francis Dickson "Frank" Lampley (1859 - 1920) on December 23, 1917, in Williamson County. Frank and Ada had one son, Leonard. After 2 years of marriage, Frank died suddenly while sitting in a chair.
Ada's 3rd marriage was to J. B. Flatt on March 10, 1925, in Lawrence County, Tennessee. After about 5 years of marriage, J. B. passed.
Ada's 4th marriage was to S. D. Davenport on June 19, 1933, in Williamson County. He died a few years later.
Ada suffered from a stroke, which left her paralyzed. She moved into the home of her daughter, Ludie Richardson. Ludie was her caregiver for several months until her mother's death.
Survivors are one daughter, Ludie Mai (Oscar) Richardson; three sons, William Andrew (Nancy) Stinson (1900 - 1973), Robert Howard (Martha) Stinson (1910 - 1995), and Francis Leonard (Alloyse) Lampley (1920 - 2004); sister, Ceclia Mai (John) Berryman; and brother, Joe (Edna) Lincoln (1882 - 1943).
Funeral services were conducted on Friday afternoon, November 26, 1937, at the Green Cemetery in Fairview, Tennessee. She was buried beside her husband, Smith Stinson and daughter, Josie Stinson all in unmarked graves.
