When the 1930 United States Federal Census was taken, Constance Bobroski was a widow living in a house on Maxwell Street in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan. An immigrant from Poland, having arrived in the United States in 1885, Constance was not a naturalized citizen according to the Census. There were four of her middleaged children residing in the home, all of whom were unmarried. The oldest child, Walter, worked for the water board as a clerk; daughter Celia was employed as a bookkeeper in a tobacco factory; John was a broker in a real estate office; and Clara was employed as a private secretary for a broker. Constance was not employed.

Constance was the mother of five daughters, two sons, and the grandmother of ten. She was predeceased by her son, Walter. In her spare time, Constance was an active member of the Pulaski Post American Legion Auxillary No. 270.
