Robert F. Harrison Rites Are Saturday
Will Be Laid to Rest at Santa Monica
Funeral services for Robert F. Harrison, active in the mining business for many years, and father of Mrs. F.G.H. Stevens, the wife of Dr. Stevens, superintendent of Methodist EpiscopalChurches in the Pasadena-Arizona District, will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the graveside in Woodlawn Cemetery, Santa Monica, with Dr. S. Ray Moore of the First Methodist Episcopal Church, Santa Monica, officiating. Mr. Harrison was the oldest living member of that church. One of the developers of mines in the San Bernardino Mountains near Victorville, Mr. Harrison had mining interests in both Colorado and Arizona. He passed away yesterday at the home of his daughter, 77 South Michigan Avenue. He leaves four children besides Mrs. Stevens. Mrs. Stephen Garey, Santa Monica; Mrs. Herald Briggs, Oklahoma City, Robert F. Harrison, Jr. Riverhead N.Y.; and Dr. William W. Harrison, Los Angeles. For many years he had his home in Pasadena and Santa Monica. Turner & Stevens Company are in charge. Probably published in the Pasadena Star-News December 17, 1936.
