Meredith M. Baucom was married twice. He married Caledonia Hilburn in 1873 in Perry County, Tennessee. By 1880 they had migrated to Lavaca County, Texas. They had 5 children together: Louisa, Mary Elizabeth, William Leonard, Henrietta, and Daisy Louise. Caledonia died sometime between 1881 and 1889. Her burial is unknown to me at this time.

In 1889, Meredith M. Baucom married Sophronia Gunn in Frio County, Texas. They had 7 children together: Wilburn, Alto, Alice, Myrtle, Albert, James Arvin, And Emma. Sophronia died sometime between 1905 and 1910. Her burial is also unknown to me at this time.
