Funeral services will be held on Tuesday afernoon at 2:30 o'clock in the First Lutheran church for Mrs. Irene Paine, 53, who died Saturday in St. Joseph's hospital.
Rev. J. R. Michaelson will officiate and interment will be in Evergreen cemetery. Friends may call at the residence at 1420 South Eighth street until Tuesday noon.
Mrs. Paine was born in Sweden, Dec 24, 1886, and came to the United States when she was eight years old. She married Ray H. Paine in Brainerd 35 years ago. Mr. Paine, former city alderman, died here four years ago.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs Ted Schaefer, Jr., Nellie and Anabel Paine of Brainerd and Helen Paine of Deerwood; one son, Ray, of Gooding, Idaho; her father Erick Anderson of Brainerd; two brothers, Axel and George Anderson of Brainerd.
