Funeral services were held for Elva M. Allman, 79, of Lucedale, on Thursday, March 20, 2008, at 3 p.m. at Shady Grove Baptist Church.
Interment followed in Shady Grove Cemetery with Rev. John Henry and Rev. Dean Smith officiating the services.
A retired LPN, she was employed by George County Hospital. A member of Shady Grove Baptist Church, she died March 18, 2008.
She is survived by her two daughters, Sherry A. Casey of Ocean Springs and Jennifer Ryan of Lucedale; son, Ernest L. Allman of Ocean Springs; three sisters, Nora Weeks, Mary Lou Donaldson and Audrey Cochran, all of Lucedale; brother Robert Howell of San Louis, Calif.; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Grayson Allman, Sr.; two sons, George Grayson Allman, Jr. and Richard Franklin Allman; grandson Joe Allman and parents, Ernest Howell and Eva (Love) Howell.
Sigler Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
