Obit: Sophia L. Reischman, 77, 108 Pine Lane, Barnesville, died Friday, November 20, 1998, at Wheeling Hospital. She was born in Lewisville on February 11, 1921, daughter of the late Phillip and Louisa Pfalzgraf Kahrig.
She was a member of the Church of the Assumption at Barnesville, and the Barnesville Senior Citizens.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clemence T. (Clem) Reischman; four brothers, Edwin, Alfred, George and Ben Kahrig; and a sister Pauline Christman'
Surviving are a son, Tom Reischman of Marietta; a daughter, Bonnie Neumann of Columbus; one brother, Homer Kahrig, Quaker City, and two sisters, Marie Brooks of Mentor and Minnie Walters of Marietta; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Friends were received Sunday at the Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, Barnesville. Services were Monday, at the Assumption Catholic Church, Barnesville, with Fr. Virgil Reischman officiating. Burial was in Assumption Cemetery. Christian wake service was held Sunday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Assumption Catholic Church, or Barnesville Senior Citzens.
