Ardeth loved taking trips, especially to Amish country, and eating in restaurants. Her hobbies included collecting animal figurines and jewelry.
She is survived by her cousin, Dorothy Cooley McAfee and husband, James McAfee, of Elyria; her brother, Dr. David Cooley and wife, Sue of Frankfort, Illinois; one niece; and two nephews; many cousins; and her special friend, Mary Ross of Upper Arlington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her paternal grandparents; three uncles; and several cousins.
A Graveside service was held in Brownhelm Cemetery, Brownhelm, Tuesday, July 3, 2012, attended by family members. She was buried near her father and stepmother.
Funeral arrangements were made by Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elyria.
