"CLEVE CAMPBELL

ARCADIA - Cleve Campbell, 75, of Epton Street died unexpectedly Thursday afternoon at his home after four years of declining health.

He was a former resident of Landrum and was born in the Oak Grove section of Greenville County. He was a retired farmer and the son of the late Kager and Mary L. Lockhart Campbell.

Surviving are: his wife, Mrs. Polly Gosnell Campbell; seven daughters, Mrs. Herman Justice, Mrs. Virgil Metcalf and Mrs. Clarence Cox, all of Landrum, Mrs. Glenn Strange of Clinton, Mrs. Gaston Henderson of Savannah, Ga., Mrs. Helen Mahaffey of Arcadia and Mrs. Claude Wright of Roebuck; three sons, Hovey of Landrum, Clarence of Whitney and Lyles Campbell of Miami, Fla.; 36 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Petty Funeral Home of Landrum is in charge."
