After the death of their teenage daughter, Ina, they moved west and finally settled in California.
Lucy Frances Clark Bradshaw died on November 17, 1925 in California. Her body was returned to her childhood home in Kentucky for burial. She is buried beside her husband in the old hilltop Clark Family Cemetery that overlooks the farm where she was born and raised.
