She was born on Sept. 9, 1943, in Danville, the daughter of Charles W. Marble and Betty L. (Frenzell) Marble. Her father preceded her in death. On Feb. 4, 1967, Sharon was united to Joe Weir at the Faith Baptist Church in Danville. He survives. Other family members that will dearly miss Sharon are: her mother, Betty; one son, Bryan Weir of Westville; one daughter; Jamie (David) Larsen of Oakwood; four brothers, Rick (Dianne) Marble of Danville, Robert (Charlene) Marble of Danville, James Marble of Plato, Texas, and John (Darlene) Marble of Danville. Also surviving are Sharon's two grandchildren, Kyle and Kasie Larsen, also of Oakwood; several nieces and nephews and two special friends, Larry and Peggy Stahl of Ridge Farm will also miss Sharon.
Sharon worked at Danville Industrial Painting, as a secretary and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church of Georgetown, the Ridge Farm Firemen's Auxiliary and the National Autumn Leaf Collector's Club. In her spare time, she enjoyed antique shopping and spending time with her grandkids, family and friends.
A celebration of life service for Sharon Weir will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 26, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home in Georgetown; Officiating: Pastor Ray Silver; Burial: Crown Hill Cemetery in Ridge Farm; Visitation: 4-8 p.m. Friday, June 25, at the funeral home;
